Recently, my 81 year old mother took an unfortunate fall and fractured her femur. Our family, however, had the good fortune to find my mother in the care of Dr. Boiardo. He not only performed a successful surgical procedure safely and expertly, but he also extended himself above and beyond to be accessible and responsive to our concerns and need for information. His capable, sensitive, and mindful care of my mother and our family before and after the surgery was greatly appreciated!

Four years ago you operated my Mom's fractured Left Patella at Hoboken Hospital and most recently have been treating her fractured Left Ankle . Your care and your staff's professionalism are second to none . Our family was blessed when we were assigned you as the surgeon to operate on my Mom. There are not sufficient stars in Google to express the quality of patient care you and your staff provide.

I injured an elbow playing hockey last winter, and it developed into bursitis. I saw specialists at HSS and Langone in NYC, but I dithered, and they dithered, about whether surgery was needed. On Memorial weekend I checked into Hoboken University Medical Center with fever and chills. The elbow had become septic. Dr. Richard Boiardo took charge of my case and got imaging and blood tests done promptly in spite of the short-handed holiday staff. He performed the surgery on Memorial Day, removing the infected tissue and shaving down a bone spur. I had virtually no pain afterward, in spite of a five-inch incision. His followup has been thorough. I feel extremely fortunate that this highly competent, experienced, take-charge surgeon ended up treating my elbow, which three weeks after surgery is already almost entirely healed. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Because of Dr. Boiardo, I am no longer in pain! His reception greeted me and made me feel safe and at home. Dr. Boiardo’s office is beautiful, he saw me right away, and his staff was right on top of obtaining all of my records from previous surgeons. He outlined my options and his bedside manner cannot be beat! What a relief to finally be with a doctor who gets it. I would recommend Dr. Boiardo to anyone who wants an opinion on or is considering surgery for any orthopedic issue. He is quite simply THE BEST. I have never felt better in my life.
