  I've been training here for the past 8 years, and can confidently say Andy is the best martial arts instructor and mentor I've ever had. He offers a unique approach involving body mechanics and good posture, and explains what makes a movement effective or ineffective, as opposed to simply mimicking movements. Andy is also a very genuine instructor who cares deeply about each of his students, and I've experienced a lot of personal growth from training with him.

  I have been training in the martial arts for over 10 years with various teachers. Andy Masterson is one of the best teachers that I have had. This is not just a job for him. He cares about the arts and his students. If you have a desire to learn a martial art form for self-defense or improve your health, check out his daily group classes.

  I've been training here for a year now rehabbing a serious spinal injury. I was looking for a low impact way to get moving again and I found so much more.
  
  In my year with Andy I went from a size 42 to a 36, and I am moving much better than I did previously. Andy has changed my life. He is so much more than a martial arts instructor.
  
  I recommend Masterson's Tai Chi Studio to anyone looking for serious training in traditional Chinese Martial Arts, someone looking to move and take their life back again after injury, or someone who just wants to get active as an adult and doesn't know where to start.
