  We moved my mother in law to Brandywine about 6 months ago. We were lucky in that she decided she wanted to move. But, finding the right place was not easy. We looked at over 10 places and found Brandywine by accident. So glad we did . We took her to 2 of the top place we had seen and when she went to Brandywine she said "Can I move in tomorrow?" The transition took a bit, but the staff could not have been more helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure she is included in activities, etc. Everyone is so friendly and caring. She loves her 'little abode" as she calls it. It is so sunny and bright and decorated with items from home. A key requirement for her was the ability to get outside. The grounds are very well maintained and she loves the courtyard. Large windows in her room open to let the fresh air in. Every Saturday there is a music program which she loves. And last week she took her first "trip" to the ice cream store with other residents. Had a great time. Bingo is also a favorite. A great choice for our family!

  After a few years of taking care of my declining mother in her residential home, it was time to search for an assisted living home that suited both of our needs. After over a month with Brandywine I am extremely satisfied with my decision to place my mother there. Not only did the accommodations surpass my expectations, but the staff and environment that is in place could not be more amazing. Specifically, their Reflections department has been incredible in assisting our transition to this new life. I could not have found a better place for my mother to live.

  My mother was moved here after damage to her "home" Brandywine for about a month and a half. It was a wonderful experience. Ellen and the staff are fantastic. There are a lot of activities and the other residents were warm and welcoming. This is a fantastic assisted living facility.

  Where do I begin with accolades for Brandywine? I’ll start with the folks who work there because each and every one of them is caring, warm, dedicated, and friendly. I visit several times a week at all hours and I'm always impressed with the folks who work there. Also, the grounds and facilities are beautifully maintained, clean, and tastefully decorated. My father has lived at Brandywine for one year now. It was a great choice for the reasons above and because he is now only 5 minutes from family! When I asked my dad what he enjoys the most, he says being close-by to family, the staff, the accommodations, the privacy, and the independence. His apartment is sunny and comfortable and completely decorated with items from home. My dad is very happy at Brandywine and I know that he is nearby, safe, and well cared for. I highly recommend Brandywine.
