We used Lenny to finish our basement last year and were very pleased with the overall experience and the finished project. He was very communicative from the planning phase through execution. This included giving us a clear sense of the overall project cost, including any potential upgrades we might consider. The project was completed in the timeframe we’d discussed, with no surprises on costs. Lenny was also very thoughtful for smaller details that have later proved very helpful; for instance, moving a couple of valves to outdoor faucets to a more accessible location, installing access panels near areas that may require servicing in the future (e.g. for plumbing), etc. The crew members that assisted Lenny were very friendly, personable, and courteous as well. Lenny was regularly onsite throughout the project and made himself available for any questions/ potential concerns, which we appreciated given our experiences with certain other contractors for major project work. A few months after the basement was finished, we noticed one of the doors wouldn’t open/ close very easily; Lenny took the time to replace the hardware & resolve the issue at no additional cost, further proving he stands behind the work he performs. We’d definitely recommend Lenny to others & he’ll be the first person we reach out to for future projects such as bathroom remodeling.

Lenny took over our basement finishing job that was abandoned by a greedy unprofessional contractor. Many contractors would not step in to take such a job - but Lenny inquired around about what went on with the previous contractor and after his due diligence, accepted to finish the job more so as a gesture to prove not all contractors are mean and greedy. Boy did he do a wonderful job! He even made changes to the original floor plan without breaking our overall budget and added some nice surprises. He called for inspections and our engagement with the township went so smooth. Lenny and his team are meticulous in how they plan and finish the work. We wish we had found him earlier. Lenny is a man of integrity and understands what a commitment means

From hello, Lenny came across as different from other contractors we have dealt with and from whom we obtained estimates for a bathroom remodel.
He LISTENED to what we wanted to accomplish and the look my wife was after. He SUGGESTED things that would make the result even better. He HELPED us to save money where appropriate, and he GUIDED us as to where to spend money where it would matter for quality and longevity.
Lenny was here every day. Both Lenny, and Rudy are craftsmen and perfectionists. They are honest, detail oriented and just overall good people.
Everything...absolutely every step is done properly, to perfection and wherever possible Lenny takes the time and effort to do things that might not be absolutely necessary but will ensure a better, higher quality finished project that will last. Not because he wants to bill us for it, but because his name is on it and he genuinely wants it as right as it can possibly be.
During the project, Lenny was happy to go with the flow and work with my wife regarding small changes and ideas we had along the way. At times, he would walk in and start the day with "so, I was thinking about (this...some aspect of the design), and I think I have an idea you might like".
We had never met or known Lenny prior to starting this project, and he has earned every word of this review and then some by the way he conducts himself and the impeccable work he does.
It was so apparent to us that Lenny's work and work ethic is a cut, actually several cuts above average that part of the way through the bathroom remodel pictured here, we signed on to do a 2nd bathroom with Lenny.
Do not hesitate to entrust Lenny's Home Improvements with your project. Don't even bother calling anyone else. You absolutely will not find a better, more honest and skilled contractor in the area.

Lenny and his crew fully remodeled our kitchen and we couldn't be happier with his quality workmanship. He is reliable, honest, a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. Lenny was on the job everyday and always made sure we were happy with the ongoing work. If we had any questions or concerns, he always addressed them, and would provide his opinion to help us make decisions. We plan to use Lenny's Home Improvements to renovate the rest of our house, and would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a top notch contractor.

We first saw Lenny’s craftsmanship at a friend’s house when he redid their kitchen and most of their first floor. We were in awe! I knew then that when my wife and I bought our forever home, we would want Lenny to do the work.

Zoom forward 3 years to 2020 and Lenny was our guy. Lenny is meticulous with his work and treats each house he is working on as it if it were his own. He takes enormous pride in his work and that provides enormous assurance that the work is being done right. He will not settle for anything less than perfect. He communicates exceptionally well, always lays out options, has a great design eye, and is completely honest with his clients. He and his team were absolute professionals and in the 3 months they were here felt like family.

Another perk in hiring Lenny is he knows all the best folks to call for any job. Need an electrician, a plumber, and HVAC repairman, even movers, he knows who to call and stakes his reputation on his referrals.

Our home will have more projects down the road, and I know we will be going back to Lenny’s Home Improvements in East Brunswick, NJ. We did not bid for multiple contractors, but we know he was worth every penny. Lenny relies strictly on referrals and is always busy. That says it all!
