(February 27, 2018, 3:06 pm)I'm quite surprised about the low review here cause I rather enjoyed living here during the year I'm commuting to NYC. Compared to the city there's simply nothing better than the spacious floor plan along with a cheap rent. Not to mention the size of the closet and huge eat in kitchen (even in 1 bedroom apartments) that make wife happy. And there's that big balcony you can have a nice coffee on Sunday mornings.
The apartments are old and like someone said they might never been renovated since they first built. But that's not a big problem to me as long as everything still works well. As someone complained about the walking noises I suggest put on slippers in the house and avoid walking barefoot. It helps a lot. As for the stair noises I can only suggest try walk lightly and choose a third floor unit. My family have never been bothered by any noise since we live on the top floor. And it's kind of nice to know in advance that someone is walking upstairs.
I have lived in all three apartments this company provides, 2 townhouse units from rivendell heights and the other rivendell apartment when I was a student living with roommates and one one-bedroom unit when living with my family. They share the same maintenance team from middlesex management. They respond to repairs fast and always get things done. -

(February 27, 2018, 2:42 pm)This place is the cheapest you can find around the train station area that has a washer and dryer in unit. It also has the biggest sqft. Our 1 bedroom apartment has 987 sqft. It is indeed old and not well renovated but you really can't ask more. Is there an apartment that's big nice new modern and cheap???? Come on. Also you can see both from the photos and during a visit about the interior of the apartment. If you think you cannot accept that condition just don't move in. There's no need of taking the advantage of cheap rent and spacious space and bad mouthing about the condition you should already know.
Some people talked about roaches but I literally haven't seen a single one during the time I lived here. Probably because I live on the top floor which I strongly suggest because it's quiet and has a nice view on the balcony.
