TV had lines running on screen.. He checked and told me that there was nothing wrong with TV which he could have told me that he replaced a part.. I changed the outlet that it was plugged to working great.. No additional charges.. The most honest guy ever..
This was a very poor experience. I brought my 45 inch HD Vizio
TV to Jasko in December of 2016. They charged me a $100 fee to look at the set and determine what was wrong. A week later they told me the set needed a new modem and it would take about a week to get the part and repair the TV. The total would be $321 and they would deduct the $100 I paid for the diagnosis off my bill.
Five weeks later I called and was told the part was on back order and they would be in touch.
Finally in late May they called and said the part would be in soon. In June they called and said the TV was fixed and I picked it up in July.
They only gave me a 30 day guarantee.
The set worked for 3 weeks and did the same thing it did when I brought it in. I called them and after some reluctance they agreed to fix it again.
A week later Mr. Jasko SR. called and said the screen was scratched and now the set was worthless and could not be fixed!!! He said if I still wanted it I could pick it up. I picked it up and got no refund.
I called another shop who said they would charge $25 to look at it and a few scratches should not prohibit a fix of the TV.
They fixed the TV in 2 days for half of what Jasko charged the scratches do not effect the picture at all. It is back in my living room with a 90 day guarantee.
No one should go to Jasko. They ripped me off and lied about how the TV could never be repaired!!!
