Montessori Academy & Learning Center

Montessori Academy and Learning Center was recommended to me by my friends. My son at the time, had never been to school and I'm embarrassed to say, as the baby of the family, was completely spoiled rotten. I have spent years teaching pre-k and learning through play has always been important to me. I never focused on standard ways of teaching for my son as I believed he would learn when he was ready.

When my son first started, he had a lot of difficulties acclimating himself to routines and following instructions and absolutely no pencil control. Despite the hard time he gave the school, they were steadfast and consistent in their encouragement and work with him. I appreciated the open phone calls and willingness to work on his behavior from both sides.

As the year progressed, I was very impressed with everything he was learning in addition to all of the milestones he was surpassing. My goal was to have him used to school and have a foundation of knowledge for when he goes to kindergarten. What he achieved as a result of attending Montessori Academy and Learning Center was so much more.

The Learning Center is small and yet everyone is very welcoming and inclusive. The owner and other admin really care about children and do their best to accommodate everyone, including financially. I felt that my son was well taken care of, made a lot of friends and learned a lot. Instead of being used to school and some foundation of knowledge that I expected, my son will now be going in kindergarten with advanced knowledge. He has started reading and has matured in ways that he never could have had he stayed home.

If you are looking for a school with a supportive community where your child will thrive, I would recommend Montessori Academy and Learning Center every time.

I started bringing my daughter (Now 4) over a year ago and she has definitely made such a huge improvement mentally, emotionally, socially, and physically. This school was taken over by new owners within the last two years. The owners are flexible, understanding, and truly care for all of these kids and will go the extra step for each and every individual in this school. Truly a gem. Would highly recommend!

We had our both kids in MALC for pre school learning and socialization. They have done much more than we thought and expect. Their academic curriculum is more advanced than other pre schools around.

Have noticed our kids learning new things everyday at school and improving their social skills at the same time. Teachers have done a great job and big contribution towards strong building base for our kids.

My kid went here since he was 2 and stayed for more than 3 years. Before joining, they showed me a book of a MALC passout kid and assured me that in 3 years, my kid would be doing all that easily- which ofcourse I didnt trust. But now I can tell with confidence that my kid does way more than what they showed me, its a tremendous progress for him and a proud moment for us as parents. MALC has good education and overall development -in terms of art, science, stage skills, drama, songs, etc. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend this school for everyone who wants their kids to have a strong foundation in life.

I was fortunate enough to have my two children in Montessori Academy over a period of 1 & 1/2 years. I am glad I did because this Academy helped my children academically and socially prepare for Kindergarten. I was glad that the staff were sensitive to the needs of both my children. My children enjoyed being there. Thank you staff and owners- I would recommend this Childcare facility to anyone !
