We used Newman Electric for our generator install. Their pricing was extremely fair and installation process was top notch! I would 1000% recommend them to anyone looking for a great team of electricians. The crew was extremely courteous, friendly and professional. They even came out on Christmas Eve to make sure we were hooked us up before an impending storm. There are so many electricians out there who over charge and take advantage of situations and people. It’s nice to know there are still trustworthy businesses out there who do quality work! Very happy with Newman Electric, and will use them from now on for all of our electrical needs!

Doug Newman Electrical did all the electrical build-out for our new house we built in 2016. My builder used him as a sub for the project so I didn't know them before that. The building process with him was excellent - he walked us through everything during and after construction. Doug and his crew are now my go to electricians for everything I need and I call him often for new projects. Service and support are outstanding - never have to wait for a response and the work is always spot on, clean and fairly priced.
As part of the home build I had them install a 20KW Kohler standby generator. The thing is a beast. I can't imagine living without it. It has never failed us and we have had 3 situations of >24 hour power outages since moving into the house. It powers the whole house with no need for my intervention - even all AC in dead of summer as if power never went out. It's ridiculous. You never know when the next big storm will come and this generator provides piece of mind that my family will not only be secure - but comfortable as well for an extended period of time. The generator service contract is an absolute must - they are engines that need continual professional maintenance. George is the service tech and one of the most pleasant and courteous people I have worked with. He keeps this monster running at peak performance - he's like a generator genius I think. He has attended specialized training for them - which is obvious. Thanks guys.

George , the tech who performed the service did an outstanding job - very thorough and meticulous. This was by far the best service I ever experienced. George installed our Kohler generator. He did a very neat job making sure it was properly distanced from the house and stairs. It does a test run once a week for 20 minutes. We opted for remote monitoring. After
being without power (central NJ) for Sandy and Irene we wanted to be protected down the shore. George explained the operation of the generator clearly .
