  Beautiful, peaceful and the visitors center is like a ski lodge with wrap around windows, circular fireplace hearth in the center and a breathtaking view. Highly recommend.

  Beautiful place to spend the day whether all alone, with someone special or bring the entire family. There's something for everyone in this secure and well cared for state park.

  This is a really nice place to go with your family, dog, or alone. There's a beautiful man-made lake where lots of animals live, they have an interesting nature center, and a comfortable visitor center. The Monmouth County park system offers boat tours on certain days and you are able to rent or bring your own electric boat.

  Came to the reservoir twice for a work outing. The first was a wildlife presentation were we had a chance to see and ask questions about reptiles and amphibians there. The second was a boat tour of the actual reservoir. The staff is patient and professional. The grounds are amazing and there so much more to do, today you don't even have to spend money for. It's a great spot for sailing, kayaking, hiking, and/or an outdoor lunch. I can't say enough about this place. Visit it for yourself, and you'll see.
