(September 29, 2018, 11:07 pm)My favorite place to go to the beach! The beach is flat and clean, and a walkway extends down far enough to make it possible to get a stroller down to the beach! There are vending machines and a snack bar to get something to eat, and plenty of places to rinse off. The bathrooms are thankfully kept clean, and actually don't stink. Another plus, bathroom entrance is door free and nice and wide, making it easy to get a stroller in. Awesome playground too! Really unique and fun, with a ton of things for kids to do. Can't recommend this park enough.

(September 3, 2018, 6:15 pm)A clean family friendly beach with strong waves. Their are male & female changing areas and 2 outdoor water station to wash the sand off. At least 3 persons can use the shower area at the same time. At the time of my visit, it cost $10 to park and $8 pp to enter (cash only). Parking was not a problem, it was very close to the beach. The parking was literally in the backyard of the beach. That was a plus especially if you have a lot of items to bring on the beach. There is a pavilion with benches to have your meal. Or you can go across the street and purchase a meal at the lighthouse eatery. It was a fun filled day, the atmosphere was welcoming, the weather was perfect. I had a blast.

(August 23, 2018, 9:12 am)I have a knee injury and was not looking forward to the long walk in the sand; getting to the beach. I was pleasantly surprised at the mat that ran across the sand. What a great feature for those with disabilities to be able to access the ocean. I was more than impressed. Also the life guards worked extra hard to be sure visitors were safe. I will visit again next time I'm home.

(August 14, 2018, 11:07 am)Great beach w food and bathrooms and showers. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for our greedy state to charge $26 for two people ($10 parking + $8 per person). We the taxpayers pay enough to live in this state stop raising "fees" (taxes) every time you fall short in other budgets. Learn how to CUT expenses.
