  Come for the yoga - stay for the community! This is a great yoga studio. Finding instructors as skilled as you find here is really hard. But don't come here just because you get a great physical yoga class to suit your skill level. Come because Pooja and Cristal have created a place for people affiliated by a love/need for yoga but united by true caring and concern for each other. I've been doing yoga for 20+ years, around the world, in NYC, you name it. I'm adventurous with my yoga - I want classes that are challenging and not routine, sometimes I want to sweat and sometimes I need a more restorative experience. At Soul Power Yoga, the instructors have worked really hard to know ME and make sure I get what I need in each class. They figure out what I need before I do. How? They pay attention to me. A gentle correction, a push out of my comfort zone, a suggestion to take it easy on myself, each when I need it. We all have ups/downs, and this is a place where people can use yoga to restore their spirit as well as the body. Getting help with my tight hips is great. Getting help with my internal voice is priceless. Isn't that the essence of yoga?

  I started at SPY in January 2018, and I was immediately hooked! Exactly the right combination of stretching, strength work, & stress reduction in an environment of welcome and warmth. The SPY Staff is friendly, fun, and knowledgeable - always giving several options for poses during class to address varying experience and effort abilities. The SPY class schedule gives you choices of classes from gentle beginner to advanced practitioner, supplementing with workshops and specialty classes (teen, pregnancy, private, etc.) for those desiring those options. Pricing is reasonable with special promotions and Groupon coupons available as well. I find myself looking forward to my time at Soul Power Yoga every week, and I feel I benefit from that time when I am outside the studio as well. Give it a try! I hope you to see you there!

  Cristal is the best! I took prenatal yoga classes with her over the summer, she ran the classes in such a therapeutic way that was so perfectly tailored to pregnant women. She is so knowledgable and a great resource for anyone looking for a great prenatal yoga class. Her sister Pooja also modified moves for me in a regular yoga class in way that was appropriate for me being at the end of my pregnancy. I highly recommend Soul Power Yoga to anyone looking for regular or prenatal yoga!

  I love this yoga studio! The owners and instructors are fantastic! The facility is spotless and great care in taken in maintaining a hygienic environment. The classes are varied and suit all levels and the pricing fits everyones needs!

  Excellent studio for all levels from beginner to advanced. I started here as a beginner almost 3 years ago and I've been coming ever since. SPY did a great job of starting me out and evolving my practice at my own pace to an advanced level without injury! I am stronger and more flexible now than I've ever been, which is amazing considering I'm a long standing AARP member :). I've tried yoga classes in other studios/gym in the area and nothing compares. Highly recommend yoga and particularly this studio. I owe a debt of gratitude to my friend Mary who started me on yoga AND of course, SPY.
