King Manor Care Center

So to begin on a positive note, I’m extremely grateful to you all for taking care of my mother. For the most part she seems extremely happy there. The thing that continuously gets me frustrated is that I can never reach her. It’s been a month now since I’ve talked to my mom. As you all know I live in Florida so I can’t just go over and see her whenever I want. She has dementia and it’s upsetting to her when she doesn’t hear from me and those types of things keep me up at night. How could you reach me if something happened??? The last time I wrote a review for this exact same reason you guys called me two months later to try to rectify the situation and I was very Gracious about everything. I should not have to worry about calling even the MAIN line to your facility and getting a busy signal because the phones don’t work. I understand that you’ve had phone issues for a long time but God forbid there’s some kind of emergency. At some point something has to give I really don’t understand how this keeps happening over the span of multiple years. This is extremely unprofessional and I’m just really frustrated about the entire situation

Update: not sure if I should find it ironic or coincidental that the day following this Post I was actually able to reach her. Seems weird to me but I stand by my statement

Wow, I am at a loss of words. This Care Facility took the utmost care of our family members over the last 2 years. The administration has become the likes not seen in Medical Care facilities nationwide. While many in the industry slack off, King Manor, from TOP TO BOTTOM of the staff, went the extra mile, and ensured the family stayed in the loop. We were so so comfortable, and we are super grateful for all that you guys did. The cleanliness, Medical care, nursing, food etc. THANK YOU THANK YOU.

I was very happy to see my aunt up and out of her room. She doesn't have much hair anymore however it was nicely combed. She looked beautiful!! I haven't seen her look this good in a very long time.
The nurse talked to me about her concerns and asked for my input. I'm told that speech therapy is working with her due to concerns with her swallowing. I work in a facility where speech therapy is a viral part of staffing, especially with the elder population where incidence of aspiration is high. It was my first visit and so far I give King Manor 5 ⭐s!

I’ve been working as an Activity Director for the last 5 years with King Manor and I can say it is a very team oriented facility. Everyone is amazing and it is a wonderful place to work. The King Manor team rocks and we each give it our all for the residents.
