(August 30, 2018, 12:11 am)Built as a hotel in 1871, this mainstay of Ocean Grove is a delight. Clean, not fussy, but very comfy - the location is supreme and the quality, efficient service is superb. We have stayed here 6 times over 3 years and have no disappointments to report!

(August 17, 2018, 10:32 am)My wife and I have stayed here twice, the most recent was last weekend. I love the covered porch, right across from the ocean and boardwalk. The rooms are adequate, we should really bring our own pillows, but other than that, we couldn't be happier with the place. The staff is friendly, it sort of feels like home.

(July 29, 2018, 10:05 am)Great location. Friendly staff. Poor TV and internet service in our room. Had to go to lobby for internet. We had a 3rd floor efficiency with a terrace. We had good view of the ocean from the terrace; terrace is long and narrow so not conducive to board game playing etc. No outdoor shower, just a hose. Kitchenette was handy to have. Continental breakfast was adequate; it got boring by the 3 rd day with the same few choices each morning. Lobby and front porch are charming with nice view of the ocean and boardwalk.

(June 29, 2018, 5:20 pm)Charming B&B on the Ocean Grove boardwalk, just steps from the beach and well within walking distance of Asbury Park attractions and dining. Simple continental-style breakfast offered from 6-10 AM daily during high season, weekends only during shoulder and off-season. Lovely ocean views from shaded front porch. Only caveat is that even simple rooms can be cost-prohibitive during high and shoulder seasons.
