(November 21, 2018, 7:12 am)My 81 year old mother is Dr. Schaal’s patient. Mom has advanced Parkinson’s disease and lives at Seabrook Continued Care in Tinton Falls, NJ. Mom purchasd a hearing aid from Dr. Schaal and enjoys complimentary monthly visits to ensure it is working properly. Because Dr. Schaal has office hours on campus, it is convenient for Mom to see her regularly. Dr. Schaal is helpful and patient, promptly addressing issues that have come up. She is supportive and accessible to both Mom and me. Her staff are also kind, always seeking to please.

(April 19, 2018, 10:44 am)I received an excellent, thorough examination and evaluation of my hearing condition at American Family Hearing Center. Dr. Schaal-Sampson explained my hearing loss in complete detail and then went on to discuss the various possibilities to correct it.
The different types of hearing aids were discussed based on my life style and smartphone. Dr. Schaal-Sampson recommended a product and a number of price options for the different capabilities of that product. As an independent audiologist, she could provide any brand/type of hearing aid.
I was very comfortable with the evaluation and recommendation. The hearing aids arrived about two weeks after my evaluation and were extremely easy to use. My hearing was significantly better from the start with minimal adjustments after my follow up visits.
I would strongly recommend the American Family Hearing Center, Dr. Schaal-Sampson and staff for the extremely professional management of my evaluation and the solution to my hearing loss.
