Mother Knitter

I took a 1:1 private crochet class yesterday with Sophie and it exceeded my expectations! Sophie was so nice and incredibly (emphasis on incredibly) patient. As a crochet newbie, I really appreciated how she took the time to walk me through everything. She has been crocheting since she was 5 (wow!) and is so knowledgable! I highly recommend a class at Mother Knitter and if you can, request a session with Sophie!

I found Mother Knitter online as a source to find a hard to find yarn in the US. I ordered and was excited! Then realized I read my pattern wrong and needed a lot more yarn than I thought and quickly made a second order. Three things happened after this... 1. They called me SAME day to ensure I meant to place two orders and I didn't hit order twice (amazing service), I told them I read my pattern wrong and yes I meant to order both lol. 2. Without me asking, a few hours later they REFUNDED my first shipping cost to combine my orders (it wasn't the money but the principle of the thing, again customer centric). 3. You better BELIEVE I will order from them again! And if I'm ever up that way will be sure to stop in. Thank you Mother Knitter!

The absolute best customer service around. Replied promptly and went above and beyond to help me get a pattern I couldn’t find anywhere. Can’t say enough about them. I hope I will be able to visit the store some day.

I've always wanted to knit more than scarves and baby blankets, but had no idea how to move beyond those things. I saw Mother Knitter was offering a beginner sweater class the next morning so I signed up! What an amazing and fun experience!! Cheryl is a patient and kind teacher who makes learning fun and has met with me outside the class hours many times. She's answered my texts (even on weekends) and has empowered me to keep moving forward with my sweater. The Shop is welcoming and has comfy places to sit and knit and the entire staff has been supportive and encouraging. I'm looking forward to my next knitting adventure here!
