I love discovering a place where the service isn't just knowledgable, fast, and well done--but also friendly. I came into Lamplighter to have a socket replaced on a beautiful brass lamp I had gotten at a flea market. The woman who helped me, whose name I am blanking on, was in the middle of making a lampshade. The craftsmanship was insane. Looking around at her other work, I was blown away. You couldn't believe these shades were done by hand, but there they were.

She took my lamp and said it would be ready in a week, of course it was faster, and when I went in to get it, she was so kind and helpful and answered a ton of questions about her work.

It's a great little shop with old-school, tried and true craftsmanship, and I am so glad to have found them.
