Dr. Howie is the BEST. He’s gotten my two hesitant kids to sit and cooperate with no problem. He’s so entertaining and funny-the kids forget they are being cleaned. He’s very honest and doesn’t try to “sell” you on services/care you don’t need!
Dr "Howie" and his staff are simply amazing. The office is upbeat and Dr. Howie's silliness makes the kids feel at ease. He's extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to really engage with the kids, w/out making it feel like you're rushed. He has a way of speaking to the kids at "their level" without sounding that way. I highly, highly recommend his practice.
After 2 others dentists, thousands of dollars and thousands of tears, we are finally in the care of someone thoughtful, reasonable and forthcoming. I am grateful every time we go for Doc Howie! No more tears before, during or after!
We had no idea that a child could love a dentist so much. Dr. Howie just gets kids (and parents). His approach towards our toddler, his patience and kindness towards us parents and expertise are an incredible relief after encounters with other pediatric dentists. He is the absolute best.
I am not the kind of person to write a review for a positive or negative experience. It is also rare I feel my expectations are not only met, but have been exceeded. In a world where patients are viewed as a paycheck/number, Dr. Howie is the complete antithesis! After first going to another popular pediatric dentist office, we went to Dr. Howie for a second option on a root canal diagnosis (for our 4 yr old!). Having never had a root canal myself, I couldn't begin to imagine my daughter needing one. Dr. Howie spent an entire hour going through our various options and making a sound recommendation based on her case. The day arrived for the root canal and it was comforting to see Dr. Howie taking his time to help our little one feel relaxed and excited about receiving "valuable prizes" once he was done fixing and putting a "princess crown on her tooth." He treated our daughter as if she were his own and gave us piece of mind and confidence for what is an otherwise nerve-wracking event. We also got a call later in the day checking in on how she was doing. We truly are grateful for his professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an amazing pediatric dentist!
