Love this school and our teacher!! My daughter is starting her second year at Calderone school of music. There were reasons I had concerns she might have difficultly learning piano. On the contrary she's making excellent progress and it is really an aspect of her life that is building her confidence. I don't believe this would necessarily be true at another school. I attribute to the school's methods and her wonderful teacher who is abundantly talented. Highly recommend this music school! The year-end recital is onsite and was just wonderful. The owner and founder is an amazing woman who cares deeply about each student's well-being.
My daughter has been taking violin lessons at Calderone since she was in Kindergarten, she is now in 8th grade. We travel over 30 minutes each week for her lessons and it is well worth it. Having seen other school's music recitals , Calderone's recitals are extremely high caliber and her students are prepared and confident when performing. I would highly recommend the school!!
Excellent - very profesional - teachers and staff. Owner, Professor Calderone, wants the students young and adult to succeed in music. In 8 years of taken lessons at Calderone, my daughters are always happy to assist to their music lessons.
Approaching retirement and with no prior music education or experience, I inexplicably decided that I wanted to learn how to play the accordion and to sing. Fast forward, I've been an adult music student at Calderone School of Music, taking voice and accordion instruction for several years now. I certainly and luckily came to the right place.
I had tried a few lessons elsewhere without success and was thinking to just give up. But here, what a difference! The staff are truly patient and understanding. Of course they can play/sing at a professional level. You'd expect that. But they also all know how to teach effectively. That is hard to find, believe me, especially for adults.
These folks inspired me to learn and get confident. Now I have music in my life and the motivation to take it further. What a joyous gift!
