Island State Park Beach

Great beach! You can visit areas where there's plenty of family activity, other areas are more secluded, some allow dogs, some you can drive on the beach. Has bath houses and clean restrooms. All inclusive to whatever your beach day needs to look like.

The 2 bathing houses each have showers/changing room & bathrooms. Both have food courts and are always full during weekends. Has 3 4x4 access WTH proper pass. 23 beach access point. These beach sights are not manned by lifeguards. Park closes @ 8pm.

I go here a couple times each year. I like that it's easy parking, a flat rate per car and the bathrooms are right near the beach. They have a snack bar there, but we always bring our own food and then get ice cream about a half mile outside the park.

Great natural haven. Perfect road for a run or bike ride, and beautiful beaches. Just wish there were more lateral trails, and more guarded beaches in the summer.

Great beaches! Pay by the car, it's cheap. Gotta get there early on the weekends or be shut out. Shower's and plenty of toilets along with dressing room at beach 1&2. Beach access available for a fee/beach permit. Smoking on parts of the beach. Look out for the foxes, yes foxes! Fishing, buggy boarding and surfing available. Put your kayak in the Bayside. Food and booze available. Bring your own food, no booze allowed to be brought in the park. Partial boardwalk to the beach.
