  Grumpy's Tackle has it all. By far the best tackle shop on the island. Custom rod building by Bob, expert reel repairs by Frankie Z and expert fishing advice from Ray and of course, Grumpy himself. They also have fresh, frozen and sometimes live bait. It's the only place I shop for all my surf, jetty and back bay needs. If the regular place you shop doesn't have it, try Grumpys. You will not be disappointed.

  Best bait shop on the east coast if don't have it they get it in for you

  We were there this morning. Grumpy was grumpy lol..... We got everything from him walking us around and showing us what we needed. Not only did he give us the best help I've ever got anywhere, but he was entertaining while he did it. Grumpy got us where we needed to go and told us exactly what to do. On the way out he wished us luck and we caught 4 fluke (no keepers). Thanks grumpy! We'll be back for sure! And if anyone reading this is in Seaside Heights and you need tackle, bait or just have no idea where to fish, go to Grumpy's!!

  Best shop I'v been in; always prioritizes the customer and makes sure they leave happy. Definitely run by the right people. Bob and Frank were a big help
