  I love Dr. Scillia. At first, I went for him because of a torn meniscus. And I have been taking care of my husband who had a stroke last year so surgery wasn't an option. So he suggested me getting the injections. And they worked wonderfully and are still working. Recently I went to see him because I had been to two other Drs for a pain in my foot which I swore was a fractured foot. The ER Dr. said there was some swelling but nothing major after an x-ray and an CT scan. My Podiatrist said it was my arthritis and put me on steroids. In my heart, I knew the pain was way to bad not to be a break or a fracture. I went to see Dr. Scillia and low and behold, I have a foot fracture. Thank god for him. I have a boot, on crutches and I now am waiting on my MRI results! Go to him, he is the best, and a great guy too

  Dr Scillia was very informative and thorough though out the process of me deciding what I was going to do with my meniscus. I was tentative at first but he made me feel real comfortable and assured me that he would take no more than he needed to get me functional again. Surgery was smooth and recovery was quick. Great job Doc!

  Dr. Scillia and his team are by far some of the most efficient professionals I've encountered. From the beginning, Dr. Scillia and his staff were extremely thorough and assuring. I went to him with hip/groin pain and after an MRI confirming a labral tear and bone spur on the femoral head, we agreed that surgery was the way to treat to prevent arthritis and eventually a replacement. This was my first surgical procedure so nerves were a huge factor on top of feeling lost in the pre-op process. Everyone was extremely helpful and each department of NJOI worked effortlessly to give me peace of mind. They all communicated extremely well amongst themselves, myself, insurance, and the surgical center (Elite Surgical Center in Wayne...another great facility and staff). The day of surgery, I had a fever and it was rescheduled with barely interfering with my prior arrangements (work, time off, personal life, etc.) Dr. Scillia's bedside manner is something that one could hope for in each of their doctor's- he made not only myself but my family comfortable as well (with some humor too!) I can go on and on about the small details where Dr. Scillia and his team made me feel at ease. They truly made every ounce of the process simple and comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone and know for certain that I would go back to them in necessary. I'm 4 1/2 months post-op and feeling great! Excited to resume my running routine!

  Dr. Scillia repaired my torn meniscus. The surgery and recovery went so well that I was mad at myself for waiting so long to get the surgery.
  
  I had the surgery in October of 2015 and in April 2016 I finished top 50 in the Spartan Beast competition in my age group (40-49), and I've medaled in several cross country 10 Ks since the operation.

  Dr Sicillia did my ACL surgery using my hamstring. I was 52, and it took a little convincing, but he accepted me as a patient. Full recovery, full range of motion, but as with any surgery *you* have to be as committed as your doctor. I kept it moving every waking moment, no pain meds, and went to rehab like it was my second job.
