Crunch Fitness - Somerset

Pretty well maintained, with classes that keep me coming back. Wednesday Night Zumba is honestly my hype night. Free weights are always my main zone and despite the cardinal rule of "put it back where you found it" people inevitably get messy. Staff do their best to clean up but given that it's located down the road from RU, inevitably during the rush it gets a bit packed and chaotic.

Inevitably barbells will go into short supply so if you have a specific flow, go early and stake your claim or go during non peak and you'll be fine but that's the rub with any commercial gym. But this spot is always clean, lockers are plentiful, and bathrooms aren't ever torn up.

After coming here for a few weeks I can definitely say that this gym was worth joining. The staff create a very friendly environment to be in and I was given great advice from the general manager Charles on how to create a balanced workout regiment to help get myself in shape for the summer. They provide a great assortment of classes to join and have a wide range of different machines to use as well!
