As a frequent flyer of many different medical specialists, I consider myself somewhat of an "expert". Dr. Boretz, PA Jodie, Taryn, and team are simply the best! Not only did they fix my medical issue, but they made it a stress-less experience. Very flexible scheduling (sometimes day of), efficient and friendly office staff, and the medical assistants always took great care of me. Dr. Boretz and PA Jodie couldn't have been more knowledgeable, and they both have great bedside manor. Thank you SMU Orthopedics team (especially the Warren office!)
My dermatologist and my gynecologist (Dr. Levey) are there, I have always had a good and very professional service. My expectations were high and they managed to meet them. I have been with them for almost 3 years and they do very good follow-up on their patients, even remembering the annual reviews by mail reminders.
Dr. Lisa Brodkin and her staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had an issue with my HCP trying to list Dr. Brodkin as my PCP. According to Summit Medical Group, Dr. Brodkin accepted my health insurance. However according to my HCP, Dr. Brodkin was not listed as a participating physician. After hours of talking to the involved parties, Tracey V. from Dr. Brodkin's office was willing to spend well over an hour on the phone with my HCP in an attempt to resolve my issue. She had to call the provider services line the following day to resolve the issue. Ultimately, despite a few hours of fruitless efforts, after talking with Tracey, I was confident that my insurance would indeed be accepted. A couple days later, I was able to see Dr. Brodkin listed in the HCP's portal and successfully relisted her as my PCP. This was indeed an above and beyond effort that made me feel valued as a patient of the practice.
I went to Dr. Boretz due to a broken wrist. I thought he was great! He performed surgery, and continued follow up appointments for about two months. He was always concerned about my progress and very professional, carefully explaining what he was doing and why. He provided me with input on exercises to speed my recovery. I would highly recommend him for any hand/arm orthopedic medical care.
I saw Dr. Rao for back and neck pain. It was an excellent experience with the Summit Medical Group staff at all levels. Dr. Rao was easy to converse with and was always encouraging and cheerful but realistic and factual with prognosis. When the doctor is happier than you are when you feel better, you know you've found a good doctor for your care.
