Great shop, outstanding service, phenomenal owner!! Having used other bike shops in the area, I can confidently say the level of service and attention provided by Gears and Grinds is unmatched.

The very first time I spoke to Connor (the owner), I asked if he offered bike rentals. Due to Covid supply chain issues he did not at the time, so instead of ending the conversation, he offered to lend me his own personal racing bike, pedals, and shoes to use in a sprint triathlon the next weekend (he also sponsored the triathlon).

Instead of trying to oversell me on a bike I couldn’t afford or push me out the door, he spent the time to build a customer relationship. I ended up buying a helmet and a few other small items, but now I’m looking to buy a bike of my own and have my kids’ bikes regularly serviced there.

Because I am older, I no longer maintain my own bike. But I still ride a good deal. Connor, the owner, replaced w worn back tire for me, installed it on the bike, adjusted the breaks and put it back in my SUV. The personal service and polite, friendly attitude made the experience enjoyable. Connor was out ill for a few days, so his service was not available as stated on their signage. That is easy to correct, as is the answering machine recording. Overall however it is a good place to have bikes fixed and serviced. I would use them again.

Very nice place. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. They have great products. I did not purchase anything or get any service done, but do look forward in doing business with them.

We needed a bike last minute for my 8 year old son’s Christmas gift. Gears N Grinds not only got us exactly what we wanted, but he delivered it on Christmas Eve! Faster than Amazon, no assembly required, great service. I appreciate it and will spread the word about your business!
