Best Honduras food so far in Elizabeth.
The tacos Hondureños are the best but all the food ... I tried other places, are good but Mila's is really good
By far the Best Patacons in Elizabeth! I love that they have different variety of foods and everything is delicious. The service is amazing, if you’re looking for somewhere to eat , this place right here is where to go . I will be coming back 😄👍🏼
Doing some contract work in the area and found this amazing spot. Latin food - got the Honduras fried chicken which is lightly battered i think with corn flour and served with cabbage salad and plantains. Presented beautifully even in a take out box and the punctured holes in the top to prevent it from getting soggy - what a nice touch - saw a bunch of hardworking female chefs in the back. Not from here but i will come back. The girl is front is really cute too.
Mila's International Restaurant and Cafe is a down-to-earth, homey, and comfortable Honduran restaurant nestled in between Peterstown and Downtown Elizabeth.
International, because the chef has experience in other Latin American restaurants and has picked up a few things. Thus, in addition to daily specials and the Honduran specialties, the menu offers dishes from Mexico, El Salvador, DR, and more.
Cafe, because they serve coffee, espresso, various baked goods, empanadas, tamales and desserts.
The restaurant is adorned with murals and paintings, each reflecting both the natural beauty and colonial architecture of Honduras.
The most emblematic and favorite street foods (golosinas) of Honduras are adapted here and come flavorful and masterfully prepared: baleadas, pollo con tajadas, tacos fritos, yuca con chicharron, you name it.
