  The best pizza you can get in NJ hands down. We ordered an XL pepperoni pie baked for 9 minutes and it came out perfect. You pay a bit of a premium but it is definitely worth it!

  Whenever I am in Elizabeth, I never miss an opportunity to have cheese pizza at Santillo's. The very best treat, though, is their french bread pizza. This is a whole baguette cut in half, with each half made into a pizza. The bread is fresh and crusty, the sauce to cheese ratio is perfect, and the whole thing is delicioso! They also sell excellent home made sauce.

  Santillo's is a popular pilgrimage for pizza lovers and for good reason. For decades, Santillo's has consistently put out amazing pizza. Their menu includes notable pizza styles from the eras and I hope to one day enjoy each of the varieties. Their most popular pizza is the 1964 or the Sicilian. Both are fantastic picks. First, you must know that Santillo's bakes their pizzas well. The cheese gets that beautiful golden brown scoring and the crust is crispy and crunchy. That being said, they have a rich, flavorful sauce that you can't get enough of. I really enjoyed the 1964 for the perfectly crispy crust and base, the delicious aforementioned sauce, and the amazing spices and herbs that packed a flavorful punch in every bite. I'm especially grateful for the many friends and experts that have recommended Santillo's to me over the years. Shoutout to Ms. V for treating me to my first Santillo's experience. That Sicilian was everything I could have hoped for. Overall, Santillo's is a piece of pizza history that needs to be experienced by any pizza-aficionado.
