Boots By Bohemond

Bohemond's shoes are amazing! The fit is perfect and the look is beautiful. Reasonably priced as well. I love my Mary Rose shoes! They're sturdy, pretty, and durable. I take care of them and they take care of my feet.

His boots are excellent, and if you go to his booth at an SCA event he will be happy to help you choose a style that fits whatever your persona is.

Custom Campaign Boots.
It has been said by many others and I will echo the truth of the statement. Sir Bohemond makes phenomenal custom boots. My boots are beautiful, comfortable, built to last and period appropriate. I have worn them for going on six years to hundreds of events. I have had the soles replaced by Bohemond three times and they are still my favorite piece of footwear I own (modern or otherwise). I could not ask for anything else.

Mary Rose shoe
I received my pair of Mary Rose shoes second hand as a gift. They were my first set of period shoes and were 4+ years old when I received them. I still have them and they show very few signs of wear. While they do require inserts to be worn for long periods of time (as Bohemond suggests) I have no doubt they will last for quite some time. If you are looking for a late period off-the-shelf shoe at an affordable price I doubt you can find a better value.

Dordrecht purse
I purchased the Dordrecht purse as a gift for my wife with the caveat that I may use it when she was not attending an event. She initially thought that would be a wonderful idea. Since receiving the purse and letting her use it I have never had that chance, she simply loved it too much to share. The purse provides tons of space for storage without looking bulky, many pockets to keep things organized and is period appropriate.

Goubitz purse
A design similar to the Dordrecht purse with one fewer pocket. This purse does not have quite the storage I would like for an entire event however it is uniquely suited to be used as an on the field storage for authorization cards, site tokens, money etc.

Italian Sallet
An SCA legal Sallet with lobster tail for that price is unbeatable. It is mild steel and yes at 14 gauge it might dent in harder hitting kingdoms (mine has a few small dents). With a little TLC these helms will last a while and look 100 times better than other “starter helms”.

Awesome boots for SCA rapier and cut & thrust. I've been wearing Bohemond's cavalier boots for the last three years on and off the field. I wore the Mary Rose shoes at my elevation ceremony, and I have a custom pair of 14th Century boots. They've all been great to wear, and Bohemond's service on them has been top-notch.
