One of the finest Veterans Memorials in the Southwest. Always well maintained, and wonderful volunteers to interact with.
12/19/21: As a military veteran I am proud to have visited this powerful and sacred place to honor those who have served before and after me. Outstanding customer service from the volunteers who staff the Visitor's Center and Museum.
From the moment you enter the parking lot you know you're entering a sacred place. It was very quiet and I didn't hear any traffic or noise while walking the grounds.
If you know of anyone or business with a torn or tattered flag, please kindly ask that they remove the flag, place it in the flag mailbox here and replace with a new flag. THANK YOU.
I learned more about service and sacrifice to country. Bless each of you and please make an effort to visit.
Really cool. Was there for the Japanese festival and it was really neat!
By far the best park in all of Albuquerque.
It is very well maintained with lost of tress, roses, and large grassy areas. They even have bathrooms for patrons. LOTS of tables and benches for comfort and picnics, there is even a water feature! The only drawback is there are no swings or jungle gym for kids, also no skates or skateboarding is allowed.
Beautiful verdant oasis. Very interesting museum. Makes you proud to be a veteran. Ample free parking. Excellent.
