Higher Altitude Yoga

Marie-Aude is a lifesaver! I have a neck injury that over years has caused me so many problems that western medicine has failed to correct. I had always heard yoga would help my condition, but was nervous about possibly injuring myself further and didn't know where to start. I found Higher Altitude Yoga and worked in private sessions on specific stretches that would help. Additionally, Marie-Aude has been working with me on nutrition. Both yoga and nutrition training are helping me get off of some of my medicines and start to function properly. I am so excited about the changes I am seeing that I now have my family doing yoga with me! I highly recommend Higher Altitude and Marie-Aude.

Our recent yoga/soak retreat in T or C was amazing. Lots of yoga, with guidance and personal asana adjustments from Marie-Aude, our instructor. And all muscle stiffness melted away with the hot springs mineral baths. Perfect combination: mindful yoga and soothing soaking!

Marie-Aude's verbal cues and instructions during class are excellent for proper alignment, and she focuses on "being" in the pose rather than "doing" the pose. She encourages us to try an asana, even if we think we can't do it, as a means for personal and physical growth. I have been very pleased with her style and classes.

I am very thankful that my friend, Joanna asked me to participate in the T or C yoga retreat given by KundunYoga instructor, Marie-Aude. I've tried yoga off and on over the past couple of years and have only recently gotten fairly serious about hot yoga. However, this weekend ( April 5 - 7) yoga experience was one that has inspired me to continue to make yoga (with and without heat)-a regular part of my Life. I left this retreat feeling great. I higly recommend giving yoga a try; like anything worthwhile, you must be consistent and patient and results with manifest.
