We had our Wedding here last Saturday July 22,2023. From the moment we arrived at Desert Harbor it was just magical, from the desert landscape to our casita that we stayed in. Raymond was our host and he nailed it! He had made us an Excellent Elopement Itinerary( It was Excellent🤩), and the most beautiful delicious food during our stay. This man can cook! Raymond took us on a tour when we got there to see everything and where the ceremony would be. Needless to say it was breathtaking! On the day of our ceremony Raymond was so helpful and wanted us to have a wonderful experience. When my Uncle & Aunt arrived to start taking photos Raymond took us to the most amazing areas to capture those moments. As our family members started to arrive Raymond was there to welcome them and help make them comfortable until the ceremony. Our ceremony was everything we had wanted and so much more. Raymond also took us on a sunset drive that was so fun! If I could give Raymond and Desert Harbor 100 stars ✨I would. Raymond thank you so much for the most amazing wedding experience and everything you did to make our stay perfect.
    Always,
    Mathew & Keasha Hill

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Desert Harbor and renewed our wedding vows. Raymond, Wesley and family, including Duke were wonderful hosts and made our stay very memorable. We enjoyed exploring the hidden secrets, indulging in the magnificent meals, the evening rover ride, guitar serenade, massage and the beautiful peaceful landscape. The family assisted ceremony, chaired by Raymond, was a treat for me and a surprise for my wife. It was great to relax, reconnect and rekindle. Many thanks, Ron and Kathy.

Back in early October, my husband and I spent a few wonderful days at Desert Harbor. We both feel so lucky to have found this place. It’s one thing for me to tell you about the immaculately clean casita and the comfortable accommodations but it’s quite another to experience being immersed in a type of peace and quiet you can’t seem to find anywhere in these modern times. The beautiful landscapes and serenity allowed us to reach a deep state of rest and relaxation. I wish I could take credit for these words, but to borrow from a wise man, this is the perfect introvert’s retreat.

The host Raymond does a wonderful job with hospitality. He is an excellent chef and the healthy, nurturing breakfasts were one of the highlights of our days. Raymond also gets points for style because he is a sharp dresser. If you don’t respect and appreciate nature, please don’t come here. We want to come back someday and don’t want this magical space to be ruined.

I got married in 2018 but never had a chance to review the wonderful time we spent at Desert Harbor Retreat. It was a dream! Raymond was so attentive to all of our needs and made our wedding and stay so special. He took care of all the details so I was not stressed at all. I had a larger party attend the wedding and he made sure they were all comfortable. I definitely recommend getting eloped or staying at Desert Harbor to everyone. I can’t wait to return for a staycation. ❤️

Desert Harbor is close to Albuquerque and Santa Fe, but it feels a world away. It is profoundly quiet and peaceful. In fact, it may be the most peaceful and calm space I have ever stayed at. For me, that peace and silence is where the magic of desert harbor lies. These qualities anchor you and remind you that the beauty of life is often found in the small things. On top of that, the sunsets there are magical, the space is immaculately designed, and Raymond is an excellent host. If you’re thinking of going to desert harbor on a retreat, to elope, or simply to celebrate an anniversary, do not hesitate to do so. You’re going to a place where time seems to stop, and you will leave feeling so grateful that you chose to treat yourself to a stay.
