Great people

I found this Church while hitchhiking and train-hopping across America. I came here on my second morning of being in Belen and I met Tom and Kim before the service, and afterwards I had the great pleasure of chatting with members of the congregation; Kelly, Hope, and Larry, who were kind enough to treat me to a meal.

The entire trip, which came to an end on October 1st, when I made it back to my girlfriend in Mexico, was a growing experience for me. I opened myself to God, something I hadn't done in nearly 10 years. I remember sitting towards the back of the congregation, sitting in a chair closest to the wall, and during the opening songs I felt an intense emotion, something I don't have the words to describe, and I cried.

I'm a significantly different person now than I was before the trip, most definitely for the better, and while I don't credit all my personal growth to this congregation there is no denying this place and the people who go here were, in some way, instrumental to my growing relationship with God, and most definitely who I am as a person.

Such a wonderful place. Breaking down chapter by chapter. And you can just feel the love. Amazing

This is a perfect smaller bodied church. Their focus on verse by verse teaching with continued views of how our lives are directly connected in a very easy and fun way, is what drew us. Such a loving little body that is clearly growing. We love our Paster. He's down to earth and funny. Easy to connect to.
