Camino Nuevo

Methadone maintenance is the gold standard for opiate addiction for a reason. This stuff works, in addition I’ll add my counselor Katie is a straight up G. She truly cares about her clients. The rest of the admin staff is lovely as well. Our dosing nurses are fast and friendly. The only negative is the head nurse zaria or whatever, she leaves ALOT to be desired to say the least. How she is a medical professional at all is honestly a mystery.

(Edit: This place has continued to be a blessing in my life. I am still clean, 5 years now, and am in the process of coming off the medication. I highly recommend this clinic and I want to say thank you to everyone who works there.)

This place saved my life. I had been an addict for years, was in and out of detoxes and rehabs, but this place (and a whole lot of determination) finally got me free from the hell of addiction, and have now been clean for over 2 years. The staff is great, the groups and the counselors that run them have helped me out so much, and I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

I started going to Camino Nuevo in early June of 2015 and it's been such an amazing experience. If you want to change your life for the better and you are ready to take that step, this is an amazing program to get into. It's not just a methadone clinic. They currently have out patient and intensive outpatient services and will hopefully soon be doing higher levels of care such as inpatient. This isn't a cop and leave program. You have to go to group meetings and work on a treatment plan with your counselor. If you do what needs to be done, you are rewarded there. If you're ready to get clean and you need help, call them. This place really is awesome. Call them, you will go in the next day or next few to make sure insurance is all set up and within 2 weeks you will have your intake. Plan on being there for 5 hours. You will be medicated that day and from there you can start to get your life back.

I was on deaths door knocking, luckily it was Camino Nuevo recovery that opened the door and not death himself!! I was givin a counselor who changed my life and helped me see what i could be and where i could be if i put the same effort i put into getting high everyday into getting and staying clean. This place saves lives!! Very proud to be part of the Camino Nuevo family!!
