Great little gun range and a nice community of people.
I took the Pistol Safety Class at Albany County Pistol Club last night. The club members who taught it were an outstanding team. It's a four hour class, but the content and the way it was presented made the time fly by. They had refreshments and snacks for us when we got there, and on top of that they treated us to pizza midway through the class (which was a very generous and thoughtful gesture given they had no obligation to do so). The lessons were interesting, the educators were engaging, and I learned a lot more than I had expected to. If you're looking to get your pistol permit a Pistol Safety Class is required, and I highly recommend taking it at this location, it was incredibly well done.
