Town of Colonie - West Albany Pocket Park

I always go to this park when I visit my cousins. It's nice and big. My dog and I can have a good walk in it. I seem to discover new things each time we go. The last time I discovered two monument in the park and took some photos. The bathroom was closed that time, which was Thanksgiving weekend, but in the summer it was open, and clean. It's less than a ten minute drive from my cousins house and it would probably be like 20 min walk from her house.

We watched our grandsons junior football game here. To he park is really nice...a quite large playground for the kids. Also this Saturday we will be watching under the lights!!! Very well kept grounds....great job Town of Colonie!!

It's a very well kept sports park for South Colonie with softball, baseball, and football fields. It has a small playground and swings for the young kids and Plenty of space for them to run around. We love it.

4 stars due to they no longer have the giant huge slide!! They took it out a few years back and we all still miss it. Otherwise they do have a lot of playground equipment that the kids love. Tennis courts, and a nice pavilion with big grill. It can either be a reserved pavilion or first come first use. It is flanked by a football field and some baseball fields. They do a great job of upkeep in the park. It does have 3 different parking lots also. So make sure you coordinate with others.

Great park. Has a nice football field and pavilion, though I do wish it had a nicer basketball court. The rims are crooked, poorly maintained and could use some more trees around the fences to block out the sunlight. Overall, a great place to visit our rent out for a special occasion.
