Comfort Inn Latham - Albany North

The hotel didn't have WiFi during my stay and multiple guest complained & they never fixed it. Other than that staff doesn't harass you. Parking is available on site. Really loved my stay there.

My only issue I asked the girl at desk if she had a spare cell phone charger as I brought the wrong one from my old phone in my prepared overnight. She was less than helpful. It's a fact that hotels find alot of phone chargers from guest who leave them. Would not even try to help. I had to drive 45 minutes north with impending snow. Would of like it working. Lacking customer service. The lady serving breakfast extremely nice older. Better service.

The room was clean and maintained. The bed was comfortable. Firm and supportive but soft enough it didn't aggravate pressure points. Was a little noisy when the sports team that was staying in the hotel were running around. The staff were friendly. The water pressure was not the greatest but the showerhead was adjustable. The handle on the toilet stuck and the water would run from tank into bowl unless you went in and shook handle. Sometimes the flapper just didn't sit correctly so I brought it up to the front desk for maintenance to look at. Not a big issue. Breakfast had yogurt, apples, bananas, sausage and eggs along with cereals and make your own waffles. Pretty standard for a hot "buffet" breakfast. Eggs were just lukewarm but it was fine otherwise. The hotel was just a few minutes from RPI and close to everything else. I will definitely stay here again when we visit.

The room was comfortable.
It was also kind of small.
The parking was adequate but they wanted you to park in back which meant you had to lug your luggage upstairs.
The person checking to see if it was not the friendliest.
But overall this hotel has a nice hotel I will definitely stay out again
