Loudonville Christian School

I am forever thankful for my time at Loudonville. I would not be the person I am today without this school. The faculty here are not just teachers, but mentors who truly care about you and help guide you in your life. You will never feel like just “a number” but rather a student who is appreciated and valued. The Christian community here is something unique and helps prepare you for college & life beyond. You will meet lifelong friends here, guaranteed. The academics are fantastic - the rigor prepares you for college. You will be challenged in your faith, but you will find your faith grow tremendously as a result. LCS is truly a unique experience like none other that provides lots of opportunities and memories. It is worth every penny.

As the school year winds down the kids and I were talking about how much we love LCS. Currently they are in 7th & 5th grades and we’ve been at the school for over 2 years.

Overall, the school is a family community. The small class size leads to students getting to know kids in other grades. Different grades frequently interact with each other. It’s common to see high schoolers high-fiving the younger kids on the way to classes.

Additionally, the small classes lets students get to know their teachers better. Teachers KNOW their students. This helps when a child is struggling or excelling as the teachers can help support and encourage the student. Both my kids feel very comfortable talking to teachers about anything.

Both of my kids enjoy the personalized education. It’s encouraging to know that the teachers are flexible depending on the student. The older students are given the responsibility of independence that fosters maturity and ownership. The younger students see such good examples in the older students.

Within weeks of my daughter starting at LCS she said, “I feel like I can be myself with no judgement.” It was a beautiful thing to hear and from what I’ve seen in the school, I agree.

As a parent, I have full trust and confidence in the school, the teachers, and the education. My husband and I are so thankful we made the decision for our kids to go to LCS.

This dynamic school is for anyone interested in their child gaining a top of the line, meaningful education. Being educated at LCS includes training up champions for Christ, teaching students with excellence and detailed care, proving a myriad of academic choices, and working with a faculty, staff and administration that truly cares for each student.

LCS is a well run organization that cares about its students and their education. The school is well staffed and is always evaluating performance in order to improve. My children have always felt safe, supported, challenged and successful while attending LCS, and I believe they have been well prepared for college and beyond with their experiences here.
