  Went with my family my son is 13 my daughter is 11 and my wife. What a great hike! We hike the ADK every year. The hike here was definitely fun!

  This is a very nice hike with great views of the water, a large waterfall and about two hours of rock scrambling. We were told by one of the workers in the shop to take the hike backwards, leaving the waterfall for last, after the stairs. Worked out well. Had a great time.

  Giant stairs was a nice hiking experience.it will take 2+ hrs to complete .So please don’t start if we don’t have ample time to finish it.As we started around 3.30 we couldn’t complete it on time and we got stuck in the middle of the forest but somehow with the help of phone torch and google map we were able to complete it .But in the end we got parking ticket as we did not take our cars from parking lot on time(parking lot closes by 5 I guess).A day hike turned into night hike and we got scared in the middle of the hike due to darkness but it was a nice experience .This hike trail is full of rock scrambles and the end part has steep ascent which will be holiday treat to your lungs and legs.Though the sign board says giant stairs is 1.1 mile long it will take more time to complete it as the trial pathway is full of rock scrambles.

  Very nice hike. I went on this hike in the fall and it was beautiful. The trails were clear and clear. The other hikers were nice and courteous. Over all this is a great place to go hiking.

  A hike that's different from the norm. You start at top and hike down, then you hike back up. I would not recommend bringing 4 legged friends because the rocks can be pretty high. There is also a swing by the water.
