The Dog Bar

Went back to the Dog Bar for the first time in many years. The experience was as memorable as ever. The food was terrific - best lamb chops and lobster you will have anywhere…..period. The accompaniments- soup, salad, potato were all high quality and included with the base dinner. Service was outstanding. Will be back again soon.

One of the finest establishment I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. Linda (the owner) went above and beyond to ensure the meal was perfect. The seafood here is AMAZING and it is complimented by the great music selection. The old-school music sets the mood perfectly. I would definitely recommend for anyone that wants to enjoy a dinner with family and friends.

Stopped there for dinner 20 years ago and had the best Australian lobster tail. Paid a visit last night 4/30/21 and ordered the Australian lobster tail again. Still outstanding and cooked to perfection. Ordered a porterhouse to go with the lobster and that too was cooked perfectly. Atmosphere is cozy and service is friendly. It’s no surprise this family owned restaurant is celebrating their 80th year in business today. We will definitely visit this gem more often. Got to love The Dog Bar.

Great atmosphere and really good food. Lobster was huge and amazing. Fried seafood was amazing! Look forward to going again.

MIXED FEELINGS.....Upon walking in, I immediately loved this restaurant. You could feel the history of the building and enjoy checking out all the memorabilia on the walls. We wanted this to be our next favorite restaurant! Based on portion size and our appetite, we decided to order from the "Not So Much" entrees. The NY steak was delicious and perfectly prepared, but we were underwhelmed by the rest of the meal. The salad was just average, tin foil wrapped baked potato and the home-made roll basket contained two biscuits and two fairly dry butterscotch muffins. Over all, we were disappointed.
