You were my counselor about 13, 14 years ago. (I apologise for any improper grammar.) My maiden name is Kristine Surman. I know you've had hundreds of clients/patients in your illustrious career, but I am sure you would remember me. You saw me on a routine basis for about a year and a half. I was 27 at the time, and you had a profound influence on my life. I struggled with severe anxiety, especially socially, since my childhood.
Anyhow, I hope I jogged your memory a little. I remember you experienced the terrlible injury of your middle finger during that time. I so wish I could go back in time. I was doing so well doing that period of my life, and it was because of you and Dr. Rhee's diagnosis and giving me a Rx for Paxil (a drug I should've been on in childhood.)
I would love to reach out to you and discuss so many things. Needless to say, my life was bliss for a good 5 years, than a few things happened that made me wish I could take a few steps backward in time. Your counseling did do wonders for me. I won't forget that " best days of my life" time. Thank you!
