I highly recommend this facility. I first went to the Emergency Veterinarian Hospital on Genesee Street in Cheektowaga, New York because it was closer to where I live (I called the phone number that was taped to the front door) around 10:30pm on Wednesday. July 1st. But, I was turned away because ALL the veterinarians were busy. I pleaded and begged the receptionist to help my dog "Lana" (American Foxhound) that was having a Grand Mal seizure. Her response was the same ..the veterinarians were to busy. I still continued to beg and plead With no avail. I was beside myself. I rushed her to Orchard Park Emergency Hospital. I called Orchard Park when I was on my way... while my beautiful Lana was thrashing about in the back of my vehicle. I was told to call back when I got close to there hospital. I called 3 minutes before arriving and 5 staff members were there to greet me and to try to save her life. She stopped moving when I arrived. The staff members picked her up and sprinted to try to save her (CPR and a shot for the seizure)..but, it was to late. They never asked me for payment..I had to ask them for the invoice. Doctor Burke was very professional, courteous , saddened for our loss and took the time to talk to my Mother and I. I should say the entire staff was the same.
I highly recommend this facility. Everyone tried to help my Lana.
I would give them a 10 STAR if I could.
If you have an emergency with your four legged loved one...I advise and highly recommend Orchard Park Emergency Hospital. You won't be disappointed.
The entire staff were so kind and heartfelt knowing my loss and not being able to save my Lana.
