Adventure Sports Rafting Company

10/10 would recommend! Helen was our guide, and not only was she very knowledgeable and professional, she was downright fun! We had a great time chatting in between the more intense rapids, even played some games and jumped off rocks to keep our kids (12,12, and 15) completely entertained - they didn’t miss their screens at all! 😂 The entire crew of guides (3) was amazing and worked very well together to stay close as we made our way down the rivers - but as a smaller family owned company, I feel like 1) we didn’t have to wait for other boats to catch up as often, and everyone felt like family! This was a first for our family and we are already looking forward to our next opportunity!

We had a great experience!!! Stephen was our guide and he was excellent. We were paired with another family and had such an amazing day on the river. Of our whole week spent camping in the Lake George area with our older teens, this was by far the highlight of the trip for all of us. I felt that we were very safe with Stephen, but he also showed us quite an adventure. Thank you, Stephen, for such a great day. We hope to return! Couple tips: don't forget to sunscreen your thighs, we wore our sunglasses without issue (you can purchase the neoprene straps for $5 right at the place). Definitely book with this company for your rafting adventures! Of all the rafting companies we saw on the river that day, we felt that Stephen/Adventure Sports Rafting Company provided us the most opportunity to experience all the exciting challenges the river had to offer. He was passionate about his job and dedicated to making sure everyone had a good time. And we did!

We had the most incredible experience! Our guide Helen was very knowledgeable. She knew when we could just drift versus when we needed to row and she was very precise in her commands which was very helpful. We got some great rapids and there was also periods of calm. This is a whole day adventure. They take professional photos that you can purchase which is nice to have. I would definitely recommend this company - they are smaller which makes it better b/c you are not constantly waiting for other rafts to catch up. The lunch was nothing to write home about - they could do better job with lunch!

Had a great day in Hudson Gorge. Everything was top notch from check in, outfitting/instruction, and even the bus ride. Mike was our guide and he knew the river like the back of his hand, pointing out natural, man-made, and historical features throughout the trip. His knowledge kept the trip interesting during the slow portions and his expertise kept my three grandsons and me safe in the rapids all while making memories that will last a lifetime. Kudos for a job well done

We had a terrific experience this weekend with Adventure Sports Rafting!!! From beginning to end, these folks were professional and fun. The Hudson River scenery was absolutely gorgeous and we were blown away by the whole experience. This was definitely the best rafting company we've tried - our guides were Maddie and Ward and both were phenomenal. They accommodated our vegan diet for lunch (very last minute) and I LOVE the shots that the photographer took (we bought them all!). A perfect weather day made everything extra special. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the ADK!!
