Harry S. Shapiro, MD

I have been coming to Dr. Shapiro for over 7 years. I cannot say enough good things about him and the practice. He has a great bedside manner and listens to his patients. It is so easy to come to the office because it is a one stop shop, labs, xrays, sonograms and other tests can be done onsite. I have recommended Dr. Shapiro and this practice to many of my loved ones. If you are need of a great group of doctors this is the place.

I needed A endocrinologist desperately! There really aren’t many options in Brooklyn. I saw two of them already. One of them said not to treat my condition. The other one was just as bad. What I liked about Dr Shapiro was that he explained my condition and necessity to treat. I already knew that from my Primary but he did go over my options. I loved that his office had everything there! Lab, X-ray, etc! I love the idea of one stop shopping doctors office because I work and it is a pain in the neck to go to & from office to office. I am ok with treatment. I feel the office is well organized and staff is excellent! My second visit, he had many patients waiting and although he did take time for me, I did get a sense that he was overwhelmed & rushing through. Unfortunately I feel this in all my Doctors offices these Days. Lack of Non payment from Insurance companies forces them to take on more patients. To summarize.. so far so good but time will tell.

Dr. Harry Shapiro is an amazing doctor. He is very knowledgeable in his field of Endocrinology. He has helped me a great deal with diabetes and thyroid conditions. He also specializes in metabolic and hormonal therapy. If your looking for answers and a confident doctor who will help you thoroughly, then you have found him. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of proper medical attention. He will answer all your questions and make you feel right at home. His staff is amazing as well. they are polite and get the job done accurately. Over all I am very pleased and will be returning on my next follow up visit.
