The pizza was good. The line was long and although we really liked the food I think we had similar quality with less of a wait. Would recommend but only if you have some extra time. Family style pizza.
I'm no New York style pizza expert but this was an awesome first experience. I had a Margherita pizza which was made in a matter of minutes and came out to me bubbling! I was fortunate enough to sit at the bar and watch the team assemble and fire the pizza in the coal fired oven. It looked pretty legit to me. As far as the taste goes it was simple, rustic and delicious. The sauce was lightly spread around between the slices of mozzarella, sprinkled with oregano and topped with fresh basil. The crust was thin but still had a good chew. It reminds me of pizza in Italy except, I hate to admit it, better.
Stumbled upon Juliana’s after noticing the famous Grimaldi’s was closed by 1:30pm. I’m glad we did as it was possibly the best Pizza I’ve ever eaten!!! It had a crispy base and the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and peppers. The restaurant was warm and the servers were friendly. My only critique is the tiny coke shooters that you get when ordering a beverage.. Everything else was world class!????
Cute decor. Pretty delicious pizza. Decent prices. Quick turn around. Our main waiter, not at all attentive...the other young server helping him out, very involved..so it balanced out on par. Don't know if I have to go back here again, but not sorry that I visited once.
Best Pizza EVER. The freshest, I could eat the whole pizza and feel light as a feather! Not greasy, and just wholesome. The chefs greeted us outside the restaurant and we were seated. Beautiful atmosphere and hospitality. 10/10 would recommend over other places definitely!!!

Juliana's Pizza is located in Brooklyn, NY at 19 Old Fulton Street. Don't confuse Juliana's with Grimaldi's, another popular pizzeria, in DUMBO. Prices are moderate, and Juliana's attracts both locals and tourists. . Telephone (718) 596-6700.
718-596-6700. Juliana's plays into Dumbo's historical pizza wars in a way that is by now boring to rehash, but, long story short, the owner is Patsy Grimaldi, who can trace his pizza bona fides back to the original Lombardi's and has been slinging pies at this location on and off since 1990.
