SUP yoga with Deanna is an invigorating and beautiful experience. SUP allows you to fully concentrate and immerse in your yoga practice. I was a novice to SUP and am not the strongest swimmer and I felt safe the entire time. It was an incredibly joyful experience; I’ll be back.

Deanna is WONDERFUL. She hosted a SUP Yoga class for me and my students at Steers Beach and is so good at what she does. From clear communication before our session and preparing us (many new to paddle boarding) for our time on the water, to teaching an incredible yoga class, she is the best.
She even took photos for us throughout our class, airdropping all 97 to us afterwards! It was such an added bonus to our class.
If you're looking for SUP Yoga, I cannot recommend Salty Soul Yoga enough. 10000/10!!!
In flooding yoga you learn to listen to your ego, your mind, and your body. It’s a healing process with your body, your soul, and your mind. You learn balance and to be in the moment. Letting go and letting things be.
Diana is AMAZING. She is very professional, kind, and an amazing teacher. I highly recommend the whole experience with the Glen Cove mansions indoor pool doing flooding yoga.
Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga with Salty Soul Yoga is amazing!! I've gone every Friday morning since June and it is easily the highlight of my summer. I feel stronger, more balanced - both physically and mentally - and proud. Deanna takes beautiful pictures each time so you get to see your progress. Deanna is also lovely company - super easy to talk to and comfortable to be around.
You really just can't beat time on the water. I read about it recently - called "Blue Mind" ("the surprising science that shows how being near, in, on, or under water can make you happier, healthier, more connected, and better at what you do"). And then combine that with 🧘♀️ 🙏 🧘♂️. I definitely recommend trying out SUP yoga and developing a regular practice if life allows. Thank you Salty Soul!
