  Typical red mango experience here. Better then the over sweetened local froyo places. Enjoyed the Carmelized pineapple flavor froyo.

  Since the below post someone told me recently that there was a whole new staff there. I went there recently and experience a very attentive young lady and very courteous staff. Great response from the admin. Great job on hiring better!
  In response to the owner, I see social media as a very unique tool that gets owners like you and I to respond like you did. Enough poor customer experiences affects the whole neighborhood so thank you for caring about our community.

  1 star is too much!!! It's always a pleasure to go to Red Mango after my son's basketball game except today. The whole gang got their ice cream as I ordered 2 acai bowls for my wife like normal as I have for the last year or so. I requested a girl to make my acai bowl "with love" for my wife and I, as is the ritual every Tuesday as some are made better than others. The request is normally met with a smile or a "I sure will". However, this time around I got a plain face response from a young lady who called herself Rachel who then passed the task on to another young lady who Rachel called Diana who began to put the wrong topping on. Now I am a soft spoken guy and I said to this young lady, I'm sorry but I requested real peanut butter from the cashier and it was like it didnt even matter to Diana as she proceeded to ask me 3 times, "but this is ok, right, its ok, right." It was like she was trying to hypnotize me into her imitation peanut butter option. After the third time of me telling her what I wanted I said, "No, it's not ok, I wanted real peanut butter." This lady rolled her eyes at me went in the back and proceeded to make it. At this point it slowly sinking in to me and my family that Diana is not happy with me and she's making a bowl for my wife. So I position myself where I could see the kitchen and I see the two girls laughing in the back. Diana comes out with it and at this point I'm thinking maybe it's me, and a straight faced and rolling of the eyes employee who suddenly finds humor together in the kitchen while making my food doesn't automatically mean I need to be concerned, so I say to Diana, "thank you so much" and receive no response from her. There is no excuse for that. I own several businesses and if any of my employees were to treat one of my customers like this they'd be suspended if not fired on the spot. I'm sad to say that I will not be going back to this Red Mango after a 1 year ritual following my kid's basketball game.

  This is a small little shop I go here with my son and my wife... the place is clean and I don’t ever see anything dirty there... the cashiers seem to be nice I’ve never had an issue with them so far... it just a little gem in the plaza in this part of LI... worth a visit if you are in the area.
