I had learned about The Bristal/Garden City through a neighbor whose mom was a resident. She shared with me that her mom was treated extremely well during her time at The Bristal. That is exactly what my family and I were seeking for our mom.
My mom just recently moved in and we have found the Bristal Assisted Living team to be everything and more we’d hoped, including welcoming, warm, supportive, professional, communicative and caring. They have gone above and beyond to welcome my mom and to make her truly feel at home during this time of transition which can often be challenging. .
They’ve also been there for our family as well at every turn whenever any needs or questions arise. Our family is so very grateful and appreciative for The Bristal leadership, staff and community.
I’ve been at The Bristal for several months and have enjoyed it immensely. The staff is wonderful and always very helpful. I love it here. I love the food and all the activities that are planned for us. If you’re thinking about this option it is well worth it!
Mom was sad and lonely at home and could no longer cook for herself without burning food on the stove as well as in the microwave. She could not remember basic things, she would say ‘I don’t know what deodorant looks like’. She would place dirty clothes in the dryer; she would forget how to operate the machines. Once in the Bristal Garden City she blossomed! She loves the activities, especially looks forward to the exercise classes. The staff is excellent, she loves the meals. She has friends now. The bus rides are wonderful, and she is looking forward to swimming in their outdoor pool once the summer comes. Mom’s energy is amazing now. I can’t thank the Bristal enough!
