Journey Beyond Divorce

I worked with Journey Beyond Divorce for just over a year and could not be more satisfied with the progress I made through comprehensive coaching. I have used talk therapy off and on throughout the years and found the coaching helped me put actionable plans into place for my own personal work and healing. Although I originally reached out about my high conflict divorce progress, my coaching sessions quickly turned into a catalyst for changes throughout other aspects of my life! If you put in the work then you will be able to really create change for yourself with Journey Beyond Divorce!

As a child of divorce, I found myself dealing with codependency in my relationships. After working with Karen, I have found healing and freedom from these tendencies and more happiness in my everyday life than I had ever experience prior. I am so thankful for Karen in her help guiding me through this journey!

Journey Beyond Divorce has been a huge help and guidance through all the phases of my divorce. Karen who started this amazing support system has not just been the voice of reason on the phone one time or another, but has also provided many resources to help educate me on my thought processes when I've maybe let my emotions get the best of me.

First, I want to thank Karen for the vision, and all of the JBD coaches for your incredible wisdom, insight and compassionate ways that you have shown to me and all of the members in this group. You have given me tremendous insight and positive support to empower me with self reflection and confidence to see things for what they are and to focus on my own strengths and weaknesses in order to step out of the chaos and into a more peaceful being. This education and guidance has been monumental in getting me to move out of a relationship that I have been stuck in for many, many years. For the first time in 20 yrs I can actually see and understand what my part in this dysfunctional relationship is, and with your persistent guidance I feel I have the proper support system to help me get out if this unhealthy marriage and possibly into a healthy relationship in the future. For this, I cannot thank each and every one of the JBD coaches for. You are all truly gifted for this work.

As far as the community of people who have participated in this group since I have joined in January, I want to thank all of you as well, for sharing your stories, your advice, your vulnerability, your pains and your joys!! It has been such a learning experience for me to hear from each of you. Much of what we go through is similar, yet unique to each if us. We are all in different places and time frames, yet we struggle with so many of the same situations and feelings. The safety of this site to be able to trust and share openly has been key to the success of the site in facilitating our healing and moving on to a better place, in our own time.

For those of you who do not choose to join the new group, I will surely miss you. I will miss your posts, your words of wisdom and kind feedback. We have quite a nice group of people here struggling to meet the same end. Peace in our lives and our relationships. As many as you can, I would encourage you to join and participate with the new group. For me, Karen and the coaches and the participants have tremendously helped me to stay focused on myself, on what is most important in any relationship, how to make and how to keep proper boundaries in relationships, how to recognize my own part and for my responsibility for problems in my relationship, and how to correct my own behaviors through understanding them and through self reflection. I can't think of a better way to be supported through such a harrowing, emotional experience as divorce. This site and this group are helping me to stay grounded and focused and are assisting me to be able to be strong enough to carry out this divorce when so many other times I have wanted to and tried to, but ended up caving in to my emotions, falling apart and going back to a very dysfunctional relationship. I am still in the beginning stages of my divorce, and it's still not easy, but with JBD's amazing coaches, podcasts, live talks on fb, telephone support calls, and their unending willingness to see you through this experience in a positive way, I would encourage each one of you to join the new group to ensure that your healing process and progress continues in the right direction for you. For those of us already involved with this group, and for those new to the group or just thinking about joining, you will not find a better group of coaches to assist you through the emotionally draining and confusing aspects of divorce and make you feel stronger and better about yourself and your decisions as the Journey Beyond Divorce Community.❤

JBD provided a community platform to listen to (and learn from) others going through divorce. People at different stages in and on the other side of their divorce journey often had great insights that were helpful to me in my own divorce recovery. Even though each person's divorce journey is unique there are many similarities where we can learn from others experience (bad or good). Karen and Lisa and their team provide specialized support and coaching services and resources for those going through/recovering from divorce. I cannot say enough good things about the JBD team.
