Dr. Polina R. Kagan, MD

Dr kagan is wonderful! takes her time and answers all questions or concerns! I go with my wife to all of her appointments it’s great that she has a gentle touch and my wife feels at ease getting great care. The wait is a bit long and most of the clinical staff are very friendly but it’s worth it for Dr. Kagan.

In the past, the Gyn who I had for years would gas light me when I complained of having serious pain and advised me to diet and lose weight or take birth control pills to make my pain go away. As my pain got worse, I went to my current gyn Dr. Kagan. My case was taken seriously by her and she suggested running tests and actually put effort into my care. I have seen multiple doctors and have never met anyone who was so caring about her patients. Despite various obstacles with my insurance, which is barely accepted anywhere, she took her time and even told me which hospitals and physicians accept my plan.

I have been seeing Dr. Kagen for nearly 15 years. In addition to delivering my two children, one during hurricane sandy in the middle of the night… she has performed multiple procedures on me and I wholeheartedly trust her with my life. Although the wait time is long sometimes, it’s worth it as she gives me the attention I need when I am with her. She always calls me back the same day should I call with an issue.

Dr Kagan is amazing. Love her. Be prepared to wait a while to be seen though. I do not recall ever being taken at my appointment time. However, she will spend time with you and not rush you. Rare in these times.
