Ron and Volko are the best. I have an exhausto chimney fan that does not work anymore. I searched the internet high and low to find someone to help me fix it (because a fireplace that smokes is not usable). Somehow, I came across Volko's website---probably because there is a testimonial from a Portland, OR (where I live) general contractor saying what a great product Volko sells. I have made numerous calls but nobody has helped me. Ron just spent 20 minutes teaching me about the exhausto product and how to trouble shoot it. He was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. Everyone should be so lucky as to get this kind of service when you call someone for help. Many thanks to Ron and Volko!!!

With everything shifting to an online presence, it's becoming easier to forget how important customer service, experience, and knowledge matter. The gents at Volko are keeping all three of those categories alive and well. As stated in previous reviews, Ron is the man! He explained our options (flat roof maintenance) and helped us decide the best way to get done what we need to get done. And as an added bonus, he was one of the nicest people we've come across in awhile. If you're looking honesty, integrity, and real people, not to mention quality building materials, Volko is your place.

Days of heavy rain revealed two leaks in my home roof. With more rain coming and with time at a premium, I needed to execute a repair immediately. For years the word is that the go-to place for contractors has been Volko.

While I am a construction equipment mechanic with decent skills, I know zero about roofing. The guys at Volko spent the time to guide me to the right products and offered the kind of sound advice upon which one could rely. Following their counsel to the letter resulted in a terrific pair of repairs. They knew the tools, materials and methods stone cold, and shared that knowledge freely.

The quality of the goods is top notch, prices were excellent, and as a local merchant myself I truly admire their service ethic and willingness to spend the time to ensure their customer had the best shot at success. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with their olde world pride and the manner in which I was treated.
