A park ranger and customer service representative is always available to sell tickets for house tours and give information on future events at Sagamore and around Oyster Bay.

But, before you criticise, remember that he lead the legislation that established the national parks such as Yellowstone and Yosemite. The tour guides are very astute and well prepared.

(July 12, 2018, 11:52 am)Beautiful grounds. Very interesting house to visit. The guide we had was very knowledgeable and genuinely interested in the people and history. Make sure to also visit the brick house / museum for a quick history lesson about this great man. Also go out on the short nature walk (slight hill on the way back) for a gorgeous glimpse of Oyster Bay area. As usual, the Park Rangers are great. Only downside is no photography allowed in the TR house.

(June 15, 2018, 6:31 pm)Very nice. The guides were knowledgeable and provided an interesting tour. Besides the tour there were other interesting things to do on the grounds as well as a museum. Well worth the trip.
